CBD for High Blood Pressure: First Step in Preventing Cardiovascular Diseases

There are numerous benefits of CBD, and blood pressure is one of them.

CBD for high blood pressure may prevent a variety of cardiovascular diseases.  In the first week of July, 2018, hundreds of scientists and endocannabinoid professionals attended the 27th annual symposium of the International Endocannabinoid Research Society in Montreal. (http://icrs.co/)

At the symposium, endocannabinoid professionals showcased their scientific findings on CBD disease maintenance and prevention. One of the primary highlights of the event was the scientific knowledge that CBD for high blood pressure works.

Scientists shared an impressive list of other significant findings aside from CBD and blood pressure.  Among the topics presented was Alzheimer’s disease and CBD.  Additional topics included CBD and Huntington’s disease, nicotine addiction and recovery from other addictions, pain management, Parkinson’s disease, a variety of epileptic conditions, and a long list of cardiovascular diseases CBD helps.

CBD for high blood pressure is vital, because cardiovascular health is of critical concern in the United States.  More Americans die of heart disease than any other illness.

According to the Mayo Clinic and American Heart Association, though, high blood pressure poses quite a bit more risks than heart disease.  Medical professionals know that excessive pressure on the walls of the veins causes irreparable cell damage.

Patients with high blood pressure typically develop a variety of complications.  Individuals experience issues including dysfunctional sexual organs, kidney loss of vision, heart attacks, strokes, and a variety of other potentially lethal cardiovascular complications.

Scientists saw impressive results with a single dose of CBD for high blood pressure.

Researchers recruited ten healthy volunteers for a study on CBD for high blood pressure.  (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5470879/)

Panel directors divided the test subjects into two groups.  For the purpose of the study, the medical team treated only one group with CBD.  Both groups were presented the same physical and mental exertion tests.  Those who had received a dose of CBD not only had lower diastolic blood pressure (DBP), they had lower mean arterial blood pressure (MAP), as well.

CBD helped in the short-term.  However, the single dose of CBD for high blood pressure wasn’t enough to reduce blood pressure permanently.  During the course of the events, though, CBD helped to regulate blood pressure.  Consequently, this allowed participants to more healthfully engage for longer periods of time.

CBD for high blood pressure is emerging.  In like manner, it just may be another field of biological health in which the natural supplementation of hemp is proving to be more beneficial than prescription drugs.
